Day 1 - Thursday, September 26 - Group Departs from USA
7:30 pm: Must arrive by 7:30pm at Newark Liberty International Airport for check in, security screening and boarding.
El Al Airlines flight #26 departs from Newark, NJ to Tel Aviv, Israel at 11:30pm. Breakfast and dinner will be served on board this overnight, non-stop flight.

Day 2 - Friday, September 27 - Welcome to Israel, Galilee
Arrive in Tel Aviv, Israel at 5:00 pm where you will be greeted and assisted by our personal tour guide.
Transfer to our hotel in the Galilee.
We will enjoy our first group dinner at the hotel followed by our group orientation.

Day 3 - Saturday, September 28 - Tiberius, Mount of Beatitudes, Capernum
Today, we will have devotions on the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Then we will continue to Tabgha, the site of the multiplication of loaves and fishes. Afterwards we will travel to Capernaum, the center of Jesus' Ministry in Galilee, where He healed the sick, preached in synagogues, and performed many miracles. Extensive archaeological ruins remain there to this day.

Day 4 - Sunday, September 29 - Northern Israel, Golan Heights, Banias Spring, Jordan River
Today we will take part in feeding the poor of Israel as we volunteer at one of our Eagles' Wings Feeding Centers. Then we will visit the Golan Heights with its beautiful valleys, grazing land, and snow-capped mountains. We will drive to Mt. BenTal and pray from this strategic vantage point. From there we will drive to the Banias Spring, where Jesus was recognized as the Messiah by His disciples.
Later on we will visit Yardenit for a Jordan River baptism.

Day 5 - Monday, September 30 - Nazareth, Megiddo, Caesarea, Tel Aviv
Begin the day with a drive to Nazareth where we will tour the Church of the Annunciation, St. Joseph's Workshop and Mary's Well.
Continue to Megiddo, one of the most important archeological sites in Israel from the time of the bible, Tel Megiddo is a beautiful and impressive national park. Visit the archaeological excavations, including the well-preserved water supply system.
Then we will visit Caesarea where we can view the magnificent remains of Herod's city, touring the Roman Theater and the renovated port area surrounded by 800-year-old walls.
Dinner and Overnight, Tal, Tel Aviv
Day 6 - Tuesday, October 1 - Tel Aviv, Independence Hall, Old Port of Jaffa, Nachalat Binyamin
This morning, visit Independence Hall, where David Ben Gurion proclaimed the foundation of the State of Israel on May 14, 1948. Continue to the Old Port of Jaffa, filled with artists' quarters, studios and art galleries. Shops catering for Judaica, archaeology, jewelry and art line its narrow alleys which are named after the signs of the Zodiac.
Continue to the trendy and historical neighborhood of Neve Tzedek.
Later this afternoon, stop at Nachalat Binyamin, the pedestrian street of the city with musicians, handmade jewelry, and artifacts. On Tuesdays and Fridays the street is home to an exciting crafts fair.
Dinner and Overnight, Tal, Tel Aviv
Day 7 - Wednesday, October 2 - Jerusalem, Mount of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, Garden Tomb
Drive to Jerusalem. Stop at Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city. Continue to the Church of All Nations and the Garden of Gethsemane. Our day will be completed with a visit to the Garden Tomb.

Day 8 - Thursday, October 3 - Efrat, Bethlehem, Gush Etzion
We will start our day with a visit to Efrat where we will take part in rabbinical teachings. From there we will proceed to Bethlehem and visit the Church of the Nativity. We will also meet and pray with a Christian Arab congregation who continues to courageously stand strong in their faith in staying in Bethlehem.
Afterwards, visit Gush Etzion.
There see a Sound and Light Show that recounts the heroism in settlement and battle by the settlers of Gush Etzion. (B,D)

Day 9 - Friday, October 4 - Jerusalem, Hezekiah's Tunnel, Jerusalem Archaeological Park, Tomb of King David, Via Dolorosa
Today we will be in the City of David. For the somewhat adventurous, we will walk through the portion of Hezekiah's Tunnel where the water still flows! We will visit the Davidson Center in the Jerusalem Archaeological Park and tour the famous Hurva Synagogue. We will go to Mount Zion to see the Tomb of King David and the nearby Room of the Last Supper. We will end the day walking along the Via Dolorosa, where Jesus carried His Cross and finish at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
This evening we will joyfully celebrate Shabbat together when we gather for dinner.

Day 10 - Saturday, October 5 - Qumran, Dead Sea, Ein Gedi Nature Preserve, Masada
Drive through the Judean Desert to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls where found in 1947. We will drive along the shore of the Dead Sea, which is an amazing 1,388ft below sea level. We will worship and pray at Ein Gedi Nature Preserve where David wrote some of the Psalms. Then continue to Masada, the last stronghold of the Jews after the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 A.D. Ascend Masada by cable car to see Herod's Palace and learn about the ancient water irrigation system. ***We will have an opportunity to float on the Dead Sea waters on this day***

Day 11 - Sunday, October 6 - The Jerusalem celebration of the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem, Yad Vashem, Israel Museum
This day is the first Sunday in October, the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem! Early this day we will be visiting Yad Vashem, Israel's memorial to the victims of the Holocaust. We will be privileged to meet with and hear from one of the survivors after entering the site by walking along the Street of the Righteous Gentiles, dedicated to the non-Jews who risked their lives in order to save their Jewish neighbors. Then we will continue to the world-class Israel Museum where we will explore the extensive collection of masterpieces by the world renowned artist Rembrandt, as well as modern and contemporary European, American, and Israeli artists.
Towards the evening we will participate in the televised Jerusalem Celebration of the global Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem! Many of you will be commissioned as Watchmen on the Wall during this gathering.

Day 12 - Monday, October 7 - Hadassah Hospital, Chagall stained glass windows, Ein Kerem, farewell dinner
This morning, visit Hadassah Hospital for a view of Chagall stained glass windows.
Continue to Ein Kerem, birthplace of John the Baptist (Luke 1.39-80). This Spanish style church and Mary's well is where Mother Mary met her cousin Elizabeth.
Free time in the afternoon for travelers to continue exploring Jerusalem and/or shopping.
Farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for our departure flight on El Al Flight 027 at 12:35 am (October 8).
