We were around 200 people, and we were blessed with the presence of Pastor Pi-Roger from Belgium, who preached about Jerusalem according to the Bible. Here are the lists of all the churches that participated in the DPPJ in Kikwit. I started by making several radio announcements at Radio Sango Malamu to inform all the Christian Leaders in Kikwit and surrounding areas so that on October 2 all the Christians could move as one body to intercede on behalf of Israel. The entire service at Power Vision Chapel Int. was attended by about 200 hundred people and the message of the day was based on the eternal and unbroken relationship between Christians and Israel.
It was an awesome experience as the church demonstrated their passion for Israel shown by the way they fervently prayed as the various topics based on peace and understanding between all that matters in the middle east were raised. --DPPJ Coordinator 

The October 2nd Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem was held at the Deliverance Center Assembly of God, Ghana Afamanaso - Agona Ashanti Region of Ghana. It was led by the DPPJ Coordinator of Ghana, Pastor Peter K. Appiah. We had invited 4 churches to join us in prayer. Pastor Onyango shared from the book of Psalms122 and explained to the members the importance of this day.
Over 300 people participated in praying for the Peace of Jerusalem and specifically for the ongoing peace negotiations and hailed President Obama’s efforts to restore Peace in the Middle East.
The participants also prayed for the German Embassy and for the souls which perished during the bomb attack in Kampala Uganda during the world cup.
Many of the participants had interest of watching some of Holy Places in Israel and asked Pastor Onyango that if possible next year when the prayers are held, the Flag of Israel should be there and the Map of Jerusalem together with her walls.
Finally all speakers and asked them to continue to pray for Israel, Christians and Kenya and worldwide.--DPPJ Coordinator

I thank God for the prayers of this International meeting for the Peace of Jerusalem on October 2nd. We prayed for DPPJ in the Police Station of Kapsabet Kenya, in the Rift Valley Area. "We were grateful to be part of this wonderful opportunity, being reminded about God's desire for us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Our Pastor gave a short overview in explaining that there is the physical Jerusalem and then there is the spiritual Jerusalem. Bringing both together, Christians can understand the Kingdom of God more clearly as Abraham and the faith-giants had seen. We had a time of intersession for Israel as well as the global church.."

"On Sunday morning we prayed for the Peace of Jerusalem. Our hearts and souls were open and we prayed with humbleness and fierceness for the peace of Jerusalem and Israel. We experienced the presence of the Spirit of God Who served us in power."

"The members were eager to participate in the special prayer time allocated for Israel. Psalm 122 and Isa 62:6 were prayed and the vision of DPPJ was shared with the congregation. Corporate readings and prayers were given and we were reminded that the DPPJ is an annual event and will be observed again next year."

We thank God for our DPPJ gatherings which stated on September 26th and ended on October 2nd and included 22 churches under my ministry. The Lord was very present with us. A preacher from Ethiopia taught us a lot about the meaning of having this time of prayer for Jerusalem, especially in this critical time for Israel when all countries are coming against her. We ended on October 2nd by celebrating and praying for the peace of Jerusalem, after the teaching of Doctor Rame Kasaro, who usually came to teach the church on this occasion. He explained why the church must pray for Jerusalem according to Rom 11. He said that Israel is the legitimate children of God, and that when they did not respond to Him God went into the street and found the Gentiles as street children and put us in His House on behalf of Israel. He said, by giving this example,” now what will happen if these street children are found like enemies, fighting His legitimate children. Would God join Himself with the enemies to fight against His legitimate children, or will He do His utmost to help His legitimate children? The church, he said, has to help God as He defends His legitimate children. The reason we have to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and Israel all together as one church, is because by doing so, God will continue to bless us because of this action. Salvation was not our right; it was for Israel. We have salvation because they refused it. After this wonderful illustration, all in the church were crying together and praying with passion for Israel. The DPPJ Service in the location of Pithapuram in Andhra Pradesh, India, had 63 different congregations represented, with 127 different pastors, plus about 350 people praying for the peace of Jerusalem. - DPPJ Coordinator

"Hallelujah! Many, many Churches and Christian Organizations prayed for the peace of Jerusalem. We cried, travailed and fervently prayed for the peace of Jerusalem and its people. Not only Japanese Churches but also different Churches from different nations who are based in Japan.

The Churches that I contacted preached about Israel and prayed for the peace of Jerusalem on their Sunday services on Oct 5. Some Churches had committed to preach/teach their congregation about Israel and pray every 1st Sunday of the month. Those people (Churches/organizations) who have been praying for Israel are being blessed abundantly and and the LORD is transforming their lives.

Many people are encouraged to visit Israel to know more about the Holy Land and the situation of the Jewish community. More and more Japanese are becoming aware and concerned to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. The LORD is opening their eyes and giving them understanding how important it is to pray for Israel and its people and love them. The prayer gathering was held at Seiryou Kaikan, Tokyo, Japan. This place is remarkable because it is beside Japan Parliamentary Offices, other key government offices and near the Emperor’s Palace. It was hosted by A Bridge between Zion and Japan (BZJ) Organization, led by Pastor Takeo Muraoka, in cooperation with：DPPJ Japan Coordinator, Jennie Seiko Takayama and other organizations. There were more than 200 people participated from different Churches and organizations. This meeting was also telecast on the internet by LTL Church and 900 people watched online.
Other than the meeting, there were more than 70 Churches from different places in Japan prayed in their Sunday Services, and the estimated number of those who joined the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem was 2000. -- DPPJ Coordinator

"There are quite a number of churches that prayed for the peace of Jerusalem and blessed Israel during the Sunday morning worship service on Oct 7th, 2007.
For the first time, some Christians in Kuala Lumpur area came together to organize a special ‘Day to Pray for Peace of Jerusalem’ meeting. The number was relatively small but it was a break-through! The night began with a time of worship with mostly Hebrew songs and also banner dancing. Ps Stephen shared a bit on the need to stand alongside Israel and expounded on Ps 122. We had good participation from the churches in Metro Manila. CBN Asia promoted the DPPJ, and two radio stations in Luzon constantly aired an announcement of the DPPJ, and eventually aired also the prayer for Israel on that day. We are looking forward to 2011!
DPPJ Coordinator - Philippines

The Day of Prayer was a festive historic event for all of us. It was the first time ever to be held in the Philippines. The presence of the Holy Spirit was so unmistakably strong from the beginning to the conclusion of the program, and many were moved to tears. DDPJ was observed simultaneously in different churches all over the Philippines from Ilocos Norte to Zamboanga City in Mindanao. Two of the largest churches in the country, Jesus ls Lord Church and Christ Commission Fellowship, which both have churches all over the country, held their own observance of the DPPJ with Hebrew worship and prayers for the peace of Jerusalem in all their services throughout the day. On Oct 4, around 120,000 people throughout 6 worship services prayed for the Peace of Jerusalem…

We are very grateful to the Lord for allowing us (One New Man Asia) to once again host the Day to Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem in Singapore, this is our fifth year and we pray that God will continue to allow us to do this. Our vision has been to bring this prayer gathering to the different parts of our little island and this year we brought it to the East. We thank God for connecting us with Pastor Dan Foo, the pastor of Bethesda (Bedok-Tampines) Church, which has a large and very beautiful facility. Although we did not fill the 1000 seat auditorium we did get a good crowd of about 400 or so people.

For the second time the ambassador of Israel to Singapore attended the occasion, though this time it was a different ambassador from last year. Mrs. Amira Arnon recently took over the office from the previous ambassador. She was very glad to be with us and expressed her joy in knowing that there are so many Christians in Singapore who stand with Israel.

This year’s DPPJ came for us in Asia in the midst of great calamity, the earthquakes in Samoa, typhoons in the Philippines and earthquake in Indonesia, in which thousands lost their lives and property could not be ignored. So we began the meeting with a time of praying for these nations.

The worship was led by a team made up of musicians from different churches, which made it really a collective effort of the body of Christ in Singapore, with the limited time they had for practice, they did a fantastic job.

We limited ourselves to praying for six areas that night due to time constraints and because we wanted to give everyone a chance to participate. The people gathered in groups of 3s and 4s and prayed for each item for a few minutes, then a leader from a church in Singapore or ministry related to Israel would seal that prayer item. Among these leaders was Canon James Wong, a revered “father of the faith” in Singapore and ardent supporter of Israel, though he is getting on in years and has difficulty moving around he chose to join us, we were truly blessed by that.

We also had a surprise visit from Tom and Ronit Bender who serve on Mt. Carmel reaching out to the Druze villages there. It was special to have a messianic Jew among us as well.

At the end of the meeting everyone agreed that it was a special time and we are looking forward to next year and waiting to see which part of the island God will bring us to next.

"At Way of the Cross Sanctuary- approximately 75 attended to Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem. There was a tremendous response from the congregation for prayer for the peace of Jerusalem. I believe there were many new intercessors birthed and a greater awareness to pray for Israel. After the prayer time was over, the senior pastor was moved to change his prepared sermon and instead preached on the importance of standing for Israel and encouraged his congregation to continue to pray daily for the peace of Jerusalem." -- Regional Coordinator

"From Anglicans to Pentecostals and Brethren to Baptists, news kept filtering through to me of participation in the worldwide day of prayer for the peace of Jerusalem. Whilst not actively co-ordinating Australia this year, it was nevertheless a blessing to know that much was taking place through foundations built in earlier years.

As to my own congregation on the Gold Coast, the Day of Prayer was presented as part of the Genesis Missions Team. What an awesome evening! As the praises to the God of Israel arose with joyful singing and waving of flags, spiritual momentum rose to 'high' with the songs 'Shalom Jerusalem' and 'The Holy City' adding dimension to an evening which can only be described as exhilarating to the spirit!

In the lead-up to praying for the peace of Jerusalem, a brilliant message was given by Rev Fraser Harding on the Mystery of Jerusalem, Meaning of Jerusalem and Mandate to pray for this city. Then, as three of us led the congregation in prayer for the City of the Great King, particular emphasis was on the streets of Jerusalem as I pictured the many pilgrims walking the streets during this special season and who would be bringing hope to the people of Israel with their messages of love, support and prayerful desires for peace.

Closing the event with the singing of 'Blessed be the Lord God Almighty', hearts seemed to throb with praise and thanksgiving to the God of Israel. Indeed, it made me realise afresh just what a privilege it is to be part of this worldwide prayer initiative praying for the peace of Jerusalem and giving Him no rest until Jerusalem be established as a praise in all the earth!

Further north at Rochedale, their DPPJ function comprised a luncheon, Jewish dance, viewing of the 1967 reclamation of Jerusalem, and prayer for Jerusalem at tables of eight led by facilitators. As the co-coordinator there writes: 'It was such a wonderful thing to bless the Holy One of Israel and to pray for His chosen people.'" - Regional Coordinator

Sunshine Coast
The Jubilee Dance Team ministered at two churches on the Sunshine Coast on the day of prayer for the peace of Jerusalem. Many people were blessed by the visual theme of ‘Praying for the Peace of Jerusalem’ which then led into a time of focused prayer. After the time of prayer and ministry we had people enquiring about why we were doing what we did and it was a blessing for me to be able to share with young and old alike my heart for God’s land and people.

Gold Coast
For the Helensvale Baptist Church, this year was seen as a breakthrough year! With no time restraints, I was able to share at both morning services the scriptures relating to Jerusalem followed by a wonderful time of prayer. And, for the first time, our pastor also participated and continued to maintain focus on God’s land and His people with his message on this day being from Romans 9-11 with such continuing on to next week as well. Much awesome praise!

South-East Queensland: Rochedale Baptist
We had a wonderful day. Both our church services started with the shofar, Baruch Haba and Holy, Holy Holy is the God of Israel. Our senior pastor, Paul Butler, prayed beautifully for the city of Jerusalem.
Afterwards we again had our Prayer and Share Lunch with 42 coming this time. People from six other churches also came along and one couple had heard about it from London! That one boggles the mind!
One of the highlights for me was that we had six of our youth and young adults come along – aged from 15-20. I showed the Gaza video again this year and the eyes of the two lads were glued to the screen as they listened and watched. I had them at my table so I did teaching in the midst of the prayer. Most didn’t have any idea how or why Israel is so important to God .. and so hated by the world. Three of them prayed beautifully during the prayer times. I praise God for this!
Overall, it was such a blessing to see so many come to this special gathering who love this nation. There were also others from our church who had never been to anything regarding Israel. So, it was a wonderful time. It was three hours of honouring YHWH, Yeshua, the city of Jerusalem and the nation of Israel. What a privilege and what a blessing it was! --DPPJ Coordinator

We had churches from all around the world participating in our DPPJ time of prayer. These included churches from Germany, New Zealand, Fiji, Darwin Queensland, Chaters Towers Queensland, Gympie Queensland, Katherine Queensland, West Australia, South Australia, Woy Woy N S W, as well as other Churches from the US, China and Singapore. About 1000 Facebook Friends were invited to participate, as well as 350 Members of the Pray for Israel Group. Also involved were about 300 ladies, which included many Prayer Home Cell groups. "What an honour and privilege it was to be part of such a tremendous and impacting prayer event around the globe which our Lord holds in His hands. What a wonderful day!

People started to arrive early at the Art Gallery. The teams on hand were well prepared and all were lovingly and warmly welcomed. As folks arrived, they were brought in to the sumptuous Kosher banquet, which awaited their arrival, where they mingled before the start of the Prayer afternoon.

Our Lord had gone before us in preparing the way & bringing in the people who attended. There was no way any man could have brought together the people who came from near and far. We walked naturally in the supernatural and followed and watched as God worked.

Under one roof from different churches Christians, Messianic Jews, Orthodox Jews and a Lebanese Pastor gathered in purpose and unity to pray to God for the Peace of Jerusalem according to His Word in Psalm 122:6.

The Rabbi and his wife from the local Synagogue came. It was an awesome moment as he opened the prayer meeting with the blowing of the Shofar, which was followed by a time of praise and worship.

Then the leaders from the different churches came to the front to lead all in attendance in prayer.

The Rabbi’s wife prayed first commencing with the Aaronic Blessing in both Hebrew and English.

Pastor Tom Inglis, from Sydney Life Church, hosted the afternoon & honoured the work of the Rabbi’s wife by taking up a collection in support of her work in gathering orphan Jewish children and bringing them back to their homeland of Israel.

The Prayer Pastor from SLC led in prayer followed by a young man from a local Anglican church, who prayed in both Hebrew & English as his Messianic family stood in support.

A Messianic Jew from within Sydney Life Church also led in a time of prayer.

The Lebanese Pastor and his wife had travelled from the Inner West of Sydney, where they have a church, to join with us in prayer. He had taken Psalm 122 verse 6 & put it to music and sang the scriptures as his prayer. This indeed was a remarkably strong moment during the prayer time.

The presence of the Lord was real and tangible, as was the unity amongst His body of believers.

The 'Mosman Art Gallery' is a very old building which has undergone many alterations and additions over the years.

The 'Grand Hall' is the original magnificent part of the Art Gallery. It also happens to be an old church complete with stained glass windows. Because it’s the local & well known Art Gallery, not one person balked at coming to pray in such a place.

God had beautifully and without fuss orchestrated that this prayer meeting, His prayer meeting, would be in a church!
There we stood in unity both Jew & Gentile (the one new man) before God praying to Him in a church!!

The 2 hours passed in the blink of an eye.

Everyone expressed their delight at having attended & all are looking forward to a much bigger gathering next year.

We advised over 700 churches in New Zealand about this event. We believe churches did get involved to some extent and we know that a number of intercessors were emailed separately about the event and would have offered personal prayers for Jerusalem. At our own church in Wellington (which we believe to be the capital city furthest from Jerusalem), we had a special one-hour prayer time after the morning service. "We had an all-congregation (Faith Centre Christian Church, Darwin) DPPJ prayer time allocated before our Sunday meeting with our Israeli flag to the fore and with a display of the items our delegation was taking to distribute during the Jerusalem March. I spoke for a short while about the current situation and my husband's sermon referred to God's overall plan for the church and Israel. It was a very productive time which culminated in people giving towards our Israel missions project to sponsor youth members to be part of our 2008 delegation which travelled to Israel 8th October. "At 2:00 pm PNG time and in Jerusalem it was 6:00 am when the prayer convocation session resumed with a gathering of about 200 people in my local church known as The Living Word Centre Papua New Guinea with the major people from Gilala Messianic Ministry from the Western Province in Papua New Guinea held the occasion to pray for the Peace of Jerusalem in the Nations Capital City, Port Moresby - that lasted for 4 hours before dark. The Gilala Ministry is made up of a tribe called The Gogodala Tribe in Western Province. Both the Gilala Ministry and The Living Word Centre came together on that day to pray together for the Shalom of Yerusalem. After the prayer sessions some pastors and local church leaders were identified to represent this event and the call to Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem in their local churches and ministries. As the body of Christ around the globe gathered to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Christian friends from the Solomon Islands participated from the ends of the earth, praying for the Peace of Jerusalem. The event was hosted at Eden Prayer Centre in Honiara, the capital city of Solomon Islands. The meeting started with worship and was followed by a teaching on Israel by Dr. Rex Maukera – the organizer of the event- on the Abrahamic Covenant and the responsibility of The Church to stand with the nation of Israel. This was followed by the people responding with prayers of repentance, corporate prayer for the needs of Israeli people and leaders, proclamation prayer of Scripture, and the dissemination of two DPPJ teaching resources to bring more understanding to Christians. It was a remarkable event as God of Israel continues to remove the scales of the eyes of the Christians to know why standing with Israel is standing with God and values what God loves. For the fourth year in a row, the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem was observed in South Australia with an evening celebration at River of Life Christian Ministries in Christie Downs, a suburb south of the capital city of Adelaide. The hosts were Pastors Ron and Anna Penney, but I organised the celebration and led the praise and worship segments as well as some of the prayer.

The evening was characterised by lively praise and worship, with many in the congregation dancing freely with flags (including the Israeli and Jerusalem flags) and tambourines to Messianic songs and traditional Jewish songs, such as “Shalu Shalom Yerushalayim” (“Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem”). We also included a segment where the congregation could get up to join in a couple of pre-choreographed Messianic dances, which were done to recordings of songs on the theme of Jerusalem and Israel. It was great to see most of the people there up dancing the “horah”!

There was prayer for Jerusalem and Israel, and for both the Jewish and Arab peoples, several times through the evening.

During one of the prayer times I felt God impress strongly upon my heart both the importance of what we were doing there that night, and that our cries to God on behalf of Jerusalem and Israel were being heard and would be answered, even though we were comparatively small. It is indeed a blessing and a privilege to be involved in the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem and to know that I am helping to make an impact for God’s nation and people, both in South Australia and around the world.

During the morning of the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem, I was able to give a short presentation at Heights Christian Church, which is my home church, on the importance of praying for Jerusalem. I then led the congregation in prayer. One of the scriptures I highlighted was Luke 13:34, where Jesus laments over Jerusalem and wishes to gather the people together as a hen gathers her chicks. I was delighted when that morning’s preacher unexpectedly continued with the theme by preaching on Jerusalem, and highlighted the equivalent scripture from Matthew 23:37! The church’s bulletin also had Psalm 122:6 on the front, with a star of David. I had not requested this, so I was very pleased to see DPPJ being so well supported by the leadership in my own church.- Heights Christian Church, South Australia

Zion Hill Christian Community, led by Ps Jenny Hagger and her husband Brian, showed a DVD on Psalm 83 produced by Barry and Batya Segal from Israel.  The church then broke into groups for a time of prayer. - South Australia Coordinator Jenny Hagger

At this time, I am aware of around 21 churches or groups which prayed for Jerusalem in South Australia... This is the largest number… Of the 21 SA churches, 15 are “new” ones, i.e. they had not reported having prayed in previous years. If it can be assumed that all the churches which are known to have participated in previous years also prayed once again this year, then the total number of churches would increase to around 38. Even so, I am convinced that the number was actually considerably higher. "In South Australia we marked the 2008 Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem by holding an evening celebration at River of Life Ministries in Christie Downs, a suburb of Adelaide. Ron and Anna, the pastors of this church, and many of their congregation, love Israel, so I knew this would be a good venue to host the celebration…the people who came were very enthusiastic and supportive and didn’t want to go home at the end!

I feel that the evening encouraged people to find a new depth of prayer for Jerusalem and for Israel, and that God spoke to several hearts about His plans for His chosen people. It was certainly a wonderful night, and my thanks and appreciation go to everyone who was involved." -- Regional Coordinator

For the third year running I was involved in an evening celebration to mark the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem which was held at River of Life Ministries in Christie Downs, a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. The celebration included praise and worship, many songs - some traditional Hebrew- all focusing on Jerusalem and also incorporating Psalm 122:6 and Isaiah 62:6-7. The congregation was encouraged to dance and make use of flags, tambourines, etc. The prayers for Jerusalem and Israel were strong and anointed . The prayers moved some to tears, and there was a point later in the evening where we all fell silent, and then different people in the congregation began spontaneously to cry out in prophecy over Israel and in very heartfelt prayers. This unprogrammed work of the Spirit was so powerful! We blew shofars at various times throughout the evening, in particular , following each section of the prayers, to proclaim the fulfillment of God’s Word. At the first shofar blowing in the middle of the opening praise there was a powerful presence of God, and I felt to encourage them to continue blowing the shofars until there seemed to be a breakthrough.

"I was in two services on the Day, where prayer was offered for the peace of Jerusalem. In my own church the pastor focused on Psalm 122. At another service I led the prayer and gave as an introduction a short summary of God’s promises to Israel already fulfilled, and a short PowerPoint of shots from different parts of the country to demonstrate this. Our report from Foursquare Gospel Church in Albany Western Australia: Carrie Wilson and Donna Slade combined Churches info meeting and prayer on Saturday 1st for those whose churches who were not able to attend on Sunday and 7 Albany Churches participated. Five Albany churches involved in some way on Sunday, while six West Australian churches from Broome, Exmouth, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Collie and Esperance participated as well as one from Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. The Highlights of the gathering were the singing of The Shema, the Aaronic Blessing and the Tikva in Hebrew and English by Donna and her two daughters. "The participation of Christians on the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem shows the love that each Christian from the Church has about Israel. This word is written in Isaiah 62:6-7. We must pray for Jerusalem. We must know that the Evil one is advancing while most of the Christians are standing. What are we doing? The Church must wake up and start to get loud. The only way to success is when we stay in agreement. Isaiah 66:10-14 'Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her.' This is the city God gave us for our capital. Not only the capital of Israel but of all nations. It is our responsibility to keep it. In the Czech Republic there were prayer meetings for the peace of Jerusalem on October 3rd in five main cities in our country: Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Ceske Budejovice and Hradec Kralove. Our main event was in Prague, attended by leaders of five different Christian denominations, among other leaders was also present previous head of Czech Roman Catholic Church cardinal. More prayer meetings were held by Pentecostal Church in Prague and Ostrava. Brethren Church organized Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem in Hradec Kralove and ecumenical prayer meetings were held in Brno and Ostrava. Overall attendance we estimate 800 Christians participated in the above mentioned events in the Czech Republic. The Day of Prayer for Peace of Jerusalem was widely announced by ICEJ magazine " Word from Jerusalem" and in Christian internet server "Christian Today" we expect there were much more prayer meeting on Grass Roots basis all around the country. -- Regional Coordinator

Prague Czech Republic DPPJ 2011 Report There were 10 of different Churches participating in DPPJ at 8 different places and towns across the Czech Republic: Prague (3 gatherings) , Ceske Budejovice, Brno, Chocen, Rumburk, Tranovice. The Unique aspect of this event was:

- for the first time so many Churches gathered for prayers for peace of Jerusalem in the Czech Republic - for the first time members of Jewish community - Ukrainian Jewish community in Ceske Budejovice
- participated in DTPPJ in Ceske Budejovice
- one gathering of DPPJ ended with Ha Tikva in Brno

The major prayer themes were: standing with Jerusalem in prayers now and in the time of coming trials and pressures, the biblical mandate for Jewish people and those praying for peace of Jerusalem, the unity of people around the world in prayers for peace of Jerusalem, and prayers for Czech politicians to continue to stand with Israel We pray and do believe that this DPPJ will strengthen the unity of different Czech Churches which will be the key element in mass participation in the next year „March of the goodwill“ in Prague against anti-Semitism. "Around 100 students, staff and guests were assembled in the hall of Glaubenszentrum on Sunday evening. After a welcome and vision casting with picture slides of Israel, our dancers performed with flags to the song “On your walls, oh Jerusalem, I have set watchmen.” We then went into a time of worship.
Two students, who had ministered in Israel for a few weeks this summer, spoke about recent experiences. Afterwards, we prayed for the following prayer requests and proclaimed God’s Word:
* Jerusalem, God’s chosen city (Zec. 8:1-3, Jer. 3:17), will be His city forever. Mentioned over 800 times in the Scriptures, it always refers to East Jerusalem, because the Western part didn’t exist back then. This points us to the spiritual battle over this place.
* For the Body of Messiah: unity (also with our Arab brethren), courage, boldness to preach the Gospel, protection, wisdom, strengthening and spiritual growth
* Outpouring of the Holy Spirit over orthodox Jews, soldiers, even now during Sukkot (Jer. 31:31-34)
* The Israeli government: specifically for Netanyahu and his Cabinet, protection, clarity, divine guidance and wisdom in all decisions, perseverance to not give in under the pressure of the nations.
Closing, we all stretched out our hands towards Jerusalem, blessed the city and prayed for a return of the Jewish people, especially those from the West.
We spent around two hours together and it was a precious experience to be praying this day united with millions of others, for God’s people and His Land, contending for His plans for Israel and the nations. It is a true privilege and we experienced again that we left feeling blessed.

 "There was participation of several Pastors representing several Churches, even leaders of the community of believers in Athens of the international charismatic community of churches.
The prophetic focus of the day was the reconciliation between the Greek and Israeli flags, which we placed together at the pulpit and prayed for the 2 nations. That is something we had not done in the previous years. To understand the significance of it, one needs to know that Greece was the only nation in Europe, and one of the few in the world, that voted against the re-establishment of the nation of Israel in the United Nations." -- Regional Coordinator

"This is the second year for us to be working with DPPJ and every year it just get’s better and we receive more blessings from Yeshua. I involved many friends from many different Churches and we translated an abundance of information. The African Churches were especially enthusiastic and we tripled the number from last year’s participation. The Italian Churches involved at least doubled what we did from last year. The level of love for Israel is growing and I know I have it in my heart to do much more." -- Regional Coordinator

 Jerusalem and her people were prayed for here in Italy. Many believers and churches participate and one large Filipino congregation held a 5-hour worship and intercession for this special global day of prayer for the peace of Jerusalem. "Approximately 1000 people attended the day of prayer. Everyone was given a small flag of Israel so we all could wave them during the praise and worship and the concert of Jewish songs. There was an official representative from the Israeli Embassy of Latvia. And the pastor of a Messianic Jewish church of Riga, Latvia also attended our event." - Regional Coordinator

"Many Christians from all over Norway joined DPPJ and all other Christians around the world that prayed for the Peace of Jerusalem on October 5th this year.
There was an advertisement in one of the largest Christian Newspaper (Dagen Magazinet) plus two other newspapers (Kors og Seier, and Evangelisten). I had a group of about 50 plus people that agreed to pray over the phone that day.
The Norwegian Christian TV, TV Vision Norge, contacted me because of my emails they had received and told me that they that night in their own live studio direct on the air would bring this prayer up and ask that all their viewers would join to pray together with them live on TV on October 5th. I saw this happen myself that night. They prayed for the Peace in Jerusalem.
I try to pray wherever I get a chance to speak also for Jerusalem. That way many might learn to remember to do the same I hope." -- Regional Coordinator

"Like in the previous days, the service on the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem in "God's Church in Christ" in Warsaw was fully devoted to Israel. The congregation consisted of about 40 people. During the worship time we were singing songs proclaiming God's love to Israel. The preaching done by our brother was about the eternal covenant between God and His chosen people. I presented the internal and external situation of Israel and prepared a few issues for prayer. we were praying for:
A strong government in Israel which would be filled up with fear of God and would not give away the Israeli land. Pouring of the spirit of repentance, grace and supplication on the dwellers of Israel. Jews and Arabs, so that they were hungry for God and recognize the Messiah in Jesus. Abundant rains in winter so that Israel would go out of the present water crisis and frustrating the nuclear danger from Iran.
It's worth adding that about 30 people from our church, including our pastor, were that weened at a conference organized by Poland for Jesus Movement in Kalisz - the oldest Polish city. The conference was devoted to Poland and Israel. On Sunday about 1000 people prayed there for Israel and peace of Jerusalem. At the same time in a few dozen Polish cities, Christians were blessing Israel during their Sunday services and interceded for her before God according to Psalm 122. In Poland there are a lot of Christians loving Israel and praying for the chosen nation.” -- Regional Coordinator

We not only participated on October 3rd, but pray EVERY Sunday for the Peace of Jerusalem and God's blessing on her people. Like millions of believers around the world, we viewed the live broadcast from Jerusalem on God TV, and "were thrilled."-- Regional Coordinator

"In Slovakia there has been several churches from various denominations in Bratislava, Banská Bystrica, Michalovce, and several individuals that prayed on this day for the peace of Jerusalem.
We prayed in groups over political situation, for young generation, for rain both spiritual and natural and protection. We blessed the map of Israel on our knees by hearing Hatikva anthem (with hearts moved to tears)
We used the promo video from web page daytopray, and some others on Youtube - it was powerful. We printed children's material and they colored pictures and prayed for Israel too...
In the end we prayed the Aaron's blessing over Israel and did collection for needy Jews in Ukraine supported by Slovak Organisation Chevra.

"We had a meeting organized on Sunday afternoon 2 PM for the Italian part of Switzerland ( around LUGANO , in AGNO, where the Airport is, to pray for the PEACE of JERUSALEM, to have a AGAPE-meal and to watch the live broadcast from JERUSALEM on GOD-TV , projected by beamer from the Internet , to a screen!
But was not online live, in Europe! So we were watching the Global Day of PRAYER from Hong Kong at Pentecost, by GOD-TV!

We conducted a special prayer meeting for the peace of Jerusalem in all 68 congregations of Ambassadors for Christ Ministry in India, at the AFCM Prayer Hall in Pithapuram Town –India, on October 2nd 2011. In our AFCM Head Church congregation, Pastor Ravi Kumar and Pastor Job taught and led prayer for the peace of Jerusalem. Prayers included: Prayers of Praise for God’s Holy City; Prayers to raise up Watchmen to pray; Peace and Protection for Jewish people; release from Replacement Theology; prayers for Christian Arabs; Rain for the land; Redemption of Israel; the coming Messiah; and prayers for the Peace for Jerusalem. The Pakistani Christian Church where these photos were taken, had an attendance of 150 people for DPPJ on October 3rd. A meal was served to all who participated in this event. The response by all the members was very animated. They are really supportive of Israel. Dr. Jailal - has ministry in Pakistan and has been teaching them a lot on the subject of Israel since he visited them in November 2009. Since last November he has been sending teaching modules every month to educate their pastors and all their members and other connections that they have.

The event had between 75 to 100 in attendance representing 15 different churches. We honored and remembered surivors and victims of the Holocaust as well as terror in the land today. We were blessed to have Stan bring those amazing handmade banners of the 12 tribes of Israel. Many participated in times of prayer for Israel. Fifty people participated, we prayed for Repentance for America (Rev. 3:15-19) in her treatment of Israel, repentance for not being the watchmen that we are called, in our community, state, America, Israel. Proclamations of God's word over events taking place against Israel, proclamations on behalf of Israel. Prayed for P.M., leaders in Israel, Israel's security forces, Aliyah/unity/salvation. As a prelude we had a small meeting on September 30th where we focused our intercession on different people groups; college campuses, and the youth. We prayed for an outpouring of God's fire, love and unity for the younger Arab/Jew generation.
We had the larger DPPJ event on October 3rd, with around one hundred people; two other churches were represented. We focused on restoration, Christian Watchmen, land issues, rain in the land, radical Islam and Jihad, the leaders in Israel (ie) PM and America/Israel alliance.

"We mobilized all the churches of Aruba to start praying for the Peace of Jerusalem. I went to the Christian Radio in Aruba motivating the Christian Leaders to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and to stand in solidarity with the Jews through a teaching series. I also spoke to a group of leaders during an event for them to pray daily for the peace of Jerusalem." -- Regional Coordinator

"The British Virgin Islands participated in the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem for the first time. Information on the day of prayer was sent to 95% of the main steam and evangelical churches on Tortola. A TV feature was done where ministers discussed why Christians should stand with Israel. A radio program was also done.
The British Virgin Islands was blessed to be a part of this very important worldwide grassroots prayer initiative in 2008. Next year we hope to spread the activities to the sister islands." -- Regional Coordinator

We started the meeting with the blowing of the Shofar (ram's horn) used in the old testament, as a remembrance of the children of Israel blowing the Shofar when they assembled together to pray to the God of Israel or for battle.
We continued with a couple of songs I composed to commemorate this event "Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem" and "The Aaronic Benediction." The prayer focused on 4 important points that are required and relevant when praying for the peace of Jerusalem:
1. The restoration of Israel. (Amos 9:15, Joel 2)
2. That there will be no more division of the land of Israel, the promised land. (Isaiah 61:4)
3. The Jewish people will return to the land of Israel (Ezekiel 36:22-28)
4. The restoration of the Jewish people (Isaiah 45:17)
During some of the prayers, the people were asked to repeat the powerful statements in agreement and in unity, which is very effective in this type of corporate prayer.
At the end, we explained the purpose and significance of the Tallit (prayer shawl) which Jesus wore when He walked in Israel. We had the room decorated with the flag of Israel, the shofar and the Tallit.
We finished with a song I composed the music for, Revelation 5:12. Everybody was blessed and we felt the Anointing of the Holy Spirit throughout the meeting. Hallelujah!

Jubilee Church had about 500 people in attendance for the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem (DPPJ) observance on Sunday, October 4. There were eight area churches who participated with Jubilee Church in this event. The major prayer themes were for salvation for Jews, Muslims, wisdom for gov. leaders.
Highlights at Jubilee included the observance of DPPJ with celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles. There were 3 Messianic Jews praying as well as a believing Palestinian. A Messianic Jew prayed a blessing over the nations. We set up a sukka, passed out cookies with a Jewish star on them at the end.
A worship & dance team from a local Messianic synagogue shared in the worship service as well as twelve Messianic believers and their Rabbi. Also had a A different young Messianic preacher share the word in the service. It was amazing! He shared that praying for the nations was an appropriate thing to be doing during the Feast of Tabernacles prophetically speaking in relation to Zech 14.
We are going to start a monthly "Fusion" gathering joining Jew and Gentile believers together for a Saturday evening meeting, Hebrew style, in a time of worship, fellowship and the young Jewish preacher available for discourse and preaching/teaching. - State Coordinator

“At my church, we had a time of prayer during both English and Japanese services. The event was so blessed and the Holy Spirit was leading the time of prayer! I first led the time of prayer, I encouraged the congregation to have time to pray individually, and the pastor of the church also prayed for the peace of Jerusalem.” Ms. Fuchino also shared on how a guest pastor spent several hours speaking about the history of Israel and the current situation in the Land, and many church members listened in. She further commented, “We did not know until this Sunday that the pastor came to know Jesus by examining the history of Israel that he saw how the prophecies spoken in the Old Testament have been fulfilled! Pastor shared his own story of how his heart was changed to pray for Israel. He paralleled the story of the prodigal son with that of the Jewish and Gentile peoples, with the younger son (the prodigal) as the Gentiles and the older brother as the Jewish people. The heart of the Father was for the sons to be reconciled and for the household to become “One” again. Pastor stressed the fact that there was something important about honoring what God has chosen, and we as the younger brothers have to respect and love our older brothers because they are the head After the sermon, we interceded for Israel and prayed for protection in the Land. "On Saturday October 3rd, 2009 we gathered at Bayfair Baptist Church in Pickering to Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and to pray for various church needs. Forty-five minutes of each of the three hours that we prayed were centered on DPPJ. We had approximately 30 people attend throughout the 3 hours. We separated the prayer time between each of the three hours by beginning with Israeli music and then this led us into 45 minutes of DPPJ prayer time and then 15 minutes for church needs.
A friend who is a Pastor from a nearby church joined us and brought an Israeli flag which we displayed across our communion table. Our friend also blew a shofar seven times near the end of the prayer time. It was a very special time for us and it is my prayer and also the prayer of others that this will become a regular part of our Saturday morning prayer meetings." - Regional Coordinator

Many churches throughout the Okanagan Valley were involved in DPPJ, and we had five churches represented in our main celebration that day with a total of 300 in participation praying with us. We also hosted a luncheon with and each table was given one of nineteen prayer points for Jerusalem to pray. There was a special guest who sang and danced through a song about the Church being to Israel as Ruth had been towards Naomi.

"On October 5th Bethel Christian Assembly in Brandon Manitoba Canada participated in the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem. We spend two and a half hours on a teaching about Israel from the Lords prospective many scriptures were read. We used the power point from Eagles Wings. Seven people prayed on the points of why we stand with Israel. The event was a highlight in our lives and will continue to be so as we pray for Israel.
We played the Israel anthem and the Canadian anthem as two men carried the Israeli flag and Canadian flag down two separate isle the met and crossed the flags as one, that was one of the most significant times in the whole morning" -- Regional Coordinator

"Here in Vancouver, we continued to raise a voice for the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem, and once again our local congregation Westpointe Christian Centre, representing a cross-section of Vancouver demographics and near the largest university in BC, participated in a teaching and prayer time for this cause on October 5th.
Through personal contacts, awareness for the DPPJ was raised throughout churches and ministries and for intercessors involved across Canada, via Cityscape Ministries, a national intercession and teaching ministry.
We also continue to seek to build relationships with the Jewish community here in Vancouver - a large centre for Jews in Canada, as well as home to the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre." -- Regional Coordinator

"We were grateful to be part of this wonderful opportunity, being reminded of God’s desire for us to pray for the Peace of Jerusalem - Psalm 122: 6, 7. Our service started with Praise and Worship, the sound of the Shofar followed by Pastor giving a short overview explaining why this day is being observed and its importance to the Christian Community all over the world.
The members were eager to participate and corporate readings were given including specific Prayers with Scripture References for Israel. A closing prayer concluded this special prayer time allocated for Israel. The Day of Prayer brought light on the church to see the need to support Israel in prayer." -- Regional Coordinator

The Day to Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem on the York University campus consisted of approximately 30 students gathering to intercede for Jerusalem in the Scott Religious Centre. The prayer for Jerusalem was led by Israel Experience participant Josee Chiasson, who returned from that trip to Israel with fresh revelation and a new passion for the nation of Israel and it's inhabitants. When asked what he thought about the prayer event, one Christian student from York said, “ The thing I like most about the worship session is the fact that we used the Word to agree and pray on behalf of Israel...we prayed individually and agreed, united, as it relates to Israel.” He also went on to say that the importance of continued prayer for the peace of Israel was imparted through the passion in the hearts of the people leading the meeting. Josee states that this prayer effort will continue throughout the school year in conjunction with an educational series called Jerusalem 101, held twice a month in order to educate students about why Christians should stand with Israel and to equip them with the knowledge to effectively do so on their campus.-- Regional Coordinator

West New Britain was again there standing shoulder to shoulder with the brethren in the nations of the world in fervent intercession for peace in God’s Covenant Nation.
The response was good from the province as congregations planned their days to pray for the Peace of Jerusalem on October 3rd 2010.
In our congregation we had communion before I led the congregation in Praying for Peace in God’s covenant nation and the whole Arab world. We had a good time in the Lord as I was satisfied when we finished. More congregations are recognizing me so I am continuing with awareness, I will be a coordinator for the rest of my life.--Dppj Coordinator

"We had many ministries respond for the first time in Delaware. One of these hosted a Jewish Rabbi from an area synagogue. He offered to read Psalm 122 in Hebrew, and to teach the gathered Gentile Christians about the Psalm." -- State Coordinator

"Immanuel Church Wilmington - The service began with the blowing of the shofar and the Shema, a processional of multigenerational flag led by the flag of Israel which preceded into a time of Hebraic dancing with adults and children. Mark Dayan from Beth Yeshua spoke to our congregation on why we pray for Israel...

Next he entered into the three prayer points initiating each one with 4 shofars from the four corners of the sanctuary blowing the appropriate sound for each point and some explanation of each.
We then transitioned into communion as Mark sang Kadosh. After the service we celebrated with two cakes, one with Israel's flag with 60 in the star and the other with Psalm 122:6 Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem on it." -- State Coordinator

"[After a long battle with his University to host a Day of Prayer event on campus, Justin finally won- only to show-up to a room empty of students who promised to show-up on Oct. 4th. Justin's passion for God and his love for Jerusalem did not keep him silent, though he was one voice in an empty concert hall... Here is Justin's thoughts on that day.] "Do not think that because you sit in the Kings palace that you are safe while all the other Jews perish for if you do not rescue us then a deliverer will arise from some other place and you and your fathers house will perish but Who knows that you have been called into the kingdom for such a time as this" (Esther4:13-14). I may be the only voice on campus but at least there is one voice, One voice is all it takes; sometimes one voice can cause change but on October 4th my one voice joined with many voice's all around the world to cause change concerning God's city Jerusalem. Our Church, Bridges of Light, spent about half of the service praying for Israel. Our time was first focused on prayer for Israel's neighbors - specifically Syria, Turkey and Saudi Arabia; we asked that the Spirit of God that lies within the generational seed on the land, would burst forth within the people. We prayed that their children would be visited in the night season through dreams and angelic visitations of God. We also prayed specifically regarding the terror plots against Israel - for protection against them and for confusion in the enemy's camp. We asked the Lord for intercessors to arise within our nation who would not only stand with Israel, but who would also cry out and speak out on her behalf, arising to a place that is true and just and right on behalf of Israel. -- State Coordinator

We were very surprised at the apathy towards the state of Israel in the churches and Christian organizations around campus. Nobody wanted to get involved because it meant taking a stance on an issue. Though we had a low turn out, this event has sparked a desire in us to research the Middle-east conflict, to better appreciate our connection to Israel through our faith and hopefully share this important message with those on our campus who have ears to hear -- DPPJ Campus Leader
